小小上班族的亂想世界

曾聽過一位英文老師說...台灣的學生,對於英文學不好,最常說的理由是..沒有良好學習英文的環境,因此效果不如出國(遊)留學...

那位老師卻反問..真的是如此嗎? 其實台灣到處也可見到英文字..只是大家都視而不見,只看"國字"

例如,捷運站裡,幾乎所有的標誌都有中英文說明..但是..我們有去注意過.看過嗎?  

因此..我決定..記錄下一些因搭捷運  可以看到的句子~    (若有誤,煩請不吝指教!)

1. 捷運車門上:

Mind the platfrom gap.     

Please stay clear of closing doors.     

Do not lean on doors.

Take care of accompanying children.    

Please allow passengers to exit first.

2. 捷運車站內:

Thoroughfare. Do not loiter.  穿越區,請勿逗留!

Next train to xxx is arriving in x min(s).

Do not play or run on the escalator.

  Cell phone Etiquette.

     Speak softly when making phone calls.

     Keep your phone call brief.

     Send a text message instead.

3. 捷運車廂內:

For the comfort and convenience of all passengers , please do not sit on the floor or occupy the places reserved for disable passengers.

Please yield your seat to elderly , pregnant , or baby-holding passengers.

Please yield your seat to elderly , pregnant , disabled passengers , or passengers with baby. Let each and every seat be priority seat.

(看得出來..博愛座..很重要..)

For your safety , please hold on to handrails or strap hangers at all times.

No Eating , Drinking or Smoking. Violator will be fined up-to NT$7,500.
